My Angel integrates a multifaceted sustainability and resilience strategy that reduces operational energy use, manages water responsibly, and enhances long-term durability while serving community needs to create a healthy living environment, fostering both physical comfort and well-being. An on-site battery allows for energy storage when energy is abundant and deployed in the evenings. Shaded open corridors reduce ventilation demand and conditioned area.

The Los Angeles Department of Transportation Bus Maintenance and CNG Fueling Facility was designed as a high-performance home base for the Downtown DASH fleet. The project emphasizes durable, long-lasting materials, integrated green spaces, and a safe, efficient environment for staff and operations. It meets and exceeds its goals, as a LEED Platinum certified facility that produces approximately 148% of its building operational energy needs.
